Thanks to Eddie Burks for inviting Justice Paul Newby as our speaker tonight. He did a great job of tying the Boy Scouts with random acts of kindness.
Attached are the minutes of the March 6 board meeting and an updated membership roster. Please let me know of any corrections that need to be made to the roster.
Next Tuesday we will meet at Something Different for a meal and business meeting centered around Pancake Day. Come prepared with your questions, suggestions, and concerns. Committee chairs can have meetings after the business meeting adjourns.

1/10/12 Keith Crisco, Sec. of Commerce, gave a presentaiton on the NC Dept. of Commerce. NC exports a lot of pork.
1/17/12 Hayworth Lemonds, Haile Gold Mine Co., informed us of gold mining exploration currently happening in Randolph County and described the planned gold mine in South Carolina. Gina Byrd and her son Ethan visited.
1/24/12 Barbara Linder, NC Extension Agent, presented informaton on the Equine industry in North Carolina and shared her passion for horses and dressage competition. Chief Gary Mason visited.
